We’re delighted to welcome you to the new Kilfinan Community Forest website, a place to discover what’s happening in the forest, learn more about our projects and find out how you can get involved.

Kilfinan Community Forest (KCFC) is owned and managed by the local community for the benefit of everyone who lives here. Covering nearly 600 hectares, our woodland is a mix of working forest, wildlife habitat and open space for people to enjoy. From tree planting and conservation work to community events and local enterprises, there’s always something going on among the trees.

This new website along with our Facebook page is here to keep you up to date with forest news, volunteering opportunities and developments within the woodland. You’ll also find information about local businesses based in the forest, our membership scheme, and ways to support KCFC’s work.

Our aim is simple, to keep Kilfinan Community Forest healthy, sustainable, and welcoming for generations to come. Whether you’re a regular visitor, a local resident, or just curious about what we do, we hope this site gives you a glimpse of what makes our forest such a special place.
